Christel Cederberg

Christel Cederberg serves as an Assistant Professor in Sustainable Agricultural Systems at Chalmers University of Technology, actively contributing to the university's strategic area of strength in Energy.

Her research focuses on advancing sustainable food and bioenergy production through three key initiatives:

• Development of grass-based biorefineries for resource-efficient biomass conversion
• Design of circular food systems optimizing nutrient cycling to minimize waste
• Implementation of soil and forest management practices enhancing carbon sinks

Dr. Cederberg's work integrates agricultural engineering with climate mitigation strategies, addressing critical challenges in sustainable resource management and food security. Her interdisciplinary approach bridges environmental science and bioeconomy development.
