Christa Bell serves as Instructor and Department Head of the Department of Mass Communication within the College of Liberal Arts at McNeese State University, where she has taught since August 2013.
Her educational background includes a bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Southern Mississippi and a master's degree in communication and organizational leadership from Gonzaga University. Prior to academia, she gained professional experience in print journalism and public relations.
Ms. Bell advises The Poke Press student newspaper and the campus chapter of PRSSA (Public Relations Student Society of America), and maintains active membership in the Public Relations Society of America, Society of Professional Journalists, and Broadcast Educator’s Association.
