Dr. Chris Wood is a Senior Lecturer in Art Psychotherapy at Sheffield Hallam University and an NHS art therapist. He coordinates the 'Thresholds' module bridging student training to professional practice.

- Health inequalities in therapy
- Refugee/migrant mental health
He leads NIHR research on psychosis interventions and chairs Art Refuge UK. Publications examine art therapy in contexts of poverty, migration, and mental health recovery.
