Dr. Chris Wiles is a PhD Candidate at the University of Surrey's Environmental Psychology Research Group. His research focuses on the therapeutic potential of natural environments and VR representations of nature in addressing mental health issues, particularly depression. He explores how VR can enhance mood, reduce depressive symptoms, and strengthen human-nature connections, while also investigating VR's role in improving psychotherapeutic interventions.
