Professor Chris Sobey is a leading academic in Physiology at La Trobe University's School of Life Sciences, specializing in cardiovascular and cerebrovascular research. He holds positions as Co-Director of the Centre for Cardiovascular Biology & Disease Research and Professor in Physiology. His career includes roles at Monash University and the University of Melbourne, where he established the Cerebrovascular Reactivity Laboratory and co-founded the Vascular Biology and Immunopharmacology Group (VBIG). Sobey has been continuously supported by NHMRC Fellowships since 2002 and has led over 18 NHMRC-funded grants.
