Chris Ramos, MPA, serves as Clinical Professor and Executive Director of the Arts and Entertainment Management Program at Pace University's Lubin School of Business. He holds an MPA from Pace University and a BFA from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
With 20 years of professional experience in the performing arts as a dancer, choreographer, and artistic director of Ramos Dance, he brings industry perspective to courses including Arts Management, Nonprofit Leadership, Film/Dance Studies, and Managing Creativity. As faculty advisor for The Industry Network student organization, he bridges academic and professional communities.
Research investigates arts education funding during economic crises, cross-platform entertainment ratings, and nonprofit management challenges. His collaborative work on DVD rating consistency received recognition at the American Society of Business and Behavioral Science conference.
Awards include:
- University Kenan Award for Teaching Excellence (2021)
- Lubin School Excellence in Teaching Award (2017)
Current service includes board membership with New York's Battery Dance Company and the NYC Arts-Education Roundtable.
