Chris Penney is a Lecturer at Leeds Conservatoire, specializing in Voice and speech, character voice, and persuasive speech. He teaches on the BA (Hons) Acting and BA (Hons) Actor Musician courses. With over 20 years of experience in vocal coaching, he previously worked as an actor in theatre, TV, film, and radio before transitioning into arts grant-making at the Community Fund and Arts Council. He holds a first-class BA (Hons) in Theatre Arts and an MA in Voice Studies from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.
