Chris Guse

Chris Guse is an Associate Professor and Production Co-Chair in the Department of Theatre at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM). He specializes in sound design, technical direction, and multimedia production, with over 20 years of experience in academia and theatre. His work spans numerous productions with institutions like Milwaukee Chamber Theatre, Kohl’s Wild Theatre, and Renaissance Theaterworks.

• Education: BFA in Theatre Production from UWM (PTTP Program)

His research and creative interests focus on innovative sound design, interactive multimedia integration, and technical direction in live performances. Notable projects include The Congo Code (Eureka Award-winning), American Idiot (Tommy Award-winning), and collaborations with alt-rock band Rocket Cat (WAMI-nominated).
