Chris Cramphorn is an Associate Professor at the Business School of Edinburgh Napier University, with a focus on complex problems, entrepreneurship, and innovation. He applies his expertise to real-world challenges such as climate change responses, supply network resilience, and technology-enhanced innovation.
- Research Interests: SME growth, circular economy, ethics, sustainability, and employability.
- Advisory Roles: Directed PhD/MSc dissertations on topics like ethnic minority entrepreneurship, online learning innovations, and sustainable fashion. Advises venture capital firms on investment strategies and works with startups to improve social/environmental impact.
- Grants & Projects: Recently led projects commissioned by Social Enterprise Scotland (£5,482) and Skills Development Scotland (2023). Previously co-authored a £5 million funding bid at LSE.
- Consulting: Worked with governments and international organizations on responsible entrepreneurship and low-impact supply networks.
Key Publications: His work includes studies on tech startup growth, circular economy applications, and educational innovation. He co-developed the MEDUSSA multimedia case study system and explored infographics as pedagogical tools.
