Roger Maull is a Professor of Management Systems at the University of Exeter’s Business School and serves as the Academic Director of the Initiative for the Digital Economy at Exeter (INDEX), based in London’s South Bank. His research bridges digital technologies, operational systems, and sustainability, with a focus on the intersection of the Digital Economy and Circular Economy.

Roger’s work explores how digital systems transform business models, supply chains, and societal structures. Notable projects include the Food Data Trust and the Internet of Food Things, funded by grants exceeding £40m from UKRI agencies.
