Chris Anderson is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist and a PhD candidate at the University of Queensland, affiliated with the School of Human Movement and Nutrition Sciences. His research focuses on exercise training and body composition in children with congenital heart disease as part of the CH-FIT multicenter trial.
- Educational Background: Bachelors and Masters in Exercise Physiology from Queensland University of Technology (QUT), with a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) on sex-based differences in thermoregulation during heat stress, sponsored by the Australian Defence Science & Technology Group.
Research Interests include pediatric sport medicine, congenital heart disease, clinical trials, and exercise physiology. His work bridges clinical applications and physiological adaptation in extreme environments.
Scientific Awards include recognition at QUT's 3MT competition and for best HDR Research Poster. He has presented internationally and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams on cardiovascular fitness interventions.
