Dr. Chloe Preedy is a scholar specializing in early modern drama and literature within the University of Exeter's Department of English and Creative Writing. Her research investigates intersections between Renaissance theatre, environmental consciousness, and religious/political polemics.

- Teaching Associate at University of Cambridge (2011-2013)

Her work focuses on early modern drama, particularly Shakespeare and Marlowe, with notable studies in spatial theatre environments, atmospheric performance, and religious conflict representations. She co-led the AHRC-funded Atmospheric Theatre project (2018-2021) examining open-air performance's environmental impact.
