Chloe Emonson is a Research Fellow at Monash University's School of Psychological Sciences. Her work focuses on promoting inclusion and physical activity for children with disabilities. Since 2016, she has contributed to multidisciplinary projects such as AllPlay Learn and AllPlay Footy, aiming to improve educational and social outcomes for neurodiverse youth. She completed her PhD at Deakin University in 2023, followed by a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) in 2017. Her research emphasizes community-focused interventions and aligns with UN Sustainable Development Goals related to education and well-being.
Key research areas include disability inclusion, physical activity benefits for children with disabilities, and sleep-related challenges in neurodevelopmental disorders. She has collaborated on projects funded by organizations like the NAB-AFL, focusing on sport participation and school-based programs. Recent publications highlight inclusive education strategies for autistic students and the feasibility of classroom-based physical activity interventions.
Chloe’s work bridges academic research with practical applications, aiming to enhance participation and well-being for young people with disabilities and their families. She has led or co-investigated two major research projects since 2016, contributing to policy and practice in inclusive education and youth health.
