Nicole Papadopoulos is a Senior Lecturer & Researcher at the Monash Krongold Clinic and the School of Educational Psychology and Counselling, Monash University. With over 10 years of experience as a Clinical Psychologist, her research focuses on developing brief behavioral interventions for children with neurodevelopmental challenges such as autism and ADHD. She leads the Sleeping Sound Autism program and co-founded the Joy of Moving Program in Australia. Her expertise includes implementation research, translating clinical interventions into community settings, and improving educational and mental health outcomes for children with developmental disorders.
Her research interests include Behavioral Sleep Problems, Movement Inclusion, Disability, Emotional Literacy, and Psychosocial Interventions. Key projects include the Mecca M-Power funded AllPlay programs, haptic music technology for autistic youth, and the Developmental Kit initiative. She has led funded projects with partners like Ferrero Australia and the Wenig Family Foundation.
Her work contributes to UN Sustainable Development Goals related to quality education and good health. Recent publications emphasize sleep interventions, cost-effectiveness analyses, and inclusive educational approaches for autistic students.
