Dr. Chloe Asker (they/them) is a Research Fellow at the University of Exeter’s European Centre for Environment & Human Health (ECEHH), working on the NIHR SPHR-funded COAST project with Prof. Conny Guell. They hold a PhD in Human Geography from the University of Exeter (2022) and have held roles at institutions including the University of the Arts London, University of Surrey, and Culture&. Their research focuses on creative approaches to health and wellbeing, with specialties in mindfulness, queer communities, and participatory methodologies. They are also a creative health facilitator, using arts-based practices to address trauma and marginalization.

Research Interests: Chloe’s work bridges health geography, medical humanities, and creative practice. Their methodologies emphasize participatory action research and trauma-informed frameworks.
