Chitresh Saraswat

Chitresh Saraswat is a Research Fellow at the School of Cybernetics, Australian National University, and a Hoffmann Fellow in Innovation for Climate Adaptation at the World Economic Forum. He holds a PhD in Water Sustainability from ANU, an MS in Sustainability from United Nations University, Japan, and specializes in climate adaptation and water governance.

His research focuses on accelerating transformations toward sustainability, particularly in the Global South, with emphasis on public-private partnerships for climate adaptation, water security, and early warning systems. His publications frequently address interdisciplinary approaches to environmental challenges.
