Chitra Paul Victor

Dr. Chitra Paul Victor is an Associate Professor of Nursing and Associate Dean of Academic Programs at the Ron and Kathy Assaf College of Nursing, Nova Southeastern University. With 27 years of international experience in nursing education, practice, and leadership, she holds a Ph.D. in Nursing Education, Practice, and Research from CMC, India, and certifications in Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (Uppsala University, Sweden).

  • MD (A.M.) in Alternative Medicine
  • Post-Master’s Certification in Sexual and Reproductive Health (Uppsala University)

Her research focuses on faith-based recovery from addiction, HIV/AIDS, and health-seeking behavior in marginalized populations. She has conducted global studies in Nepal, South Africa, Spain, and Thailand. Dr. Victor is a member of editorial boards for major nursing journals and serves as an accreditation site visitor for NLN-CNEA. She is also an ambassador for the National League for Nurses and a research council member for the American Holistic Nurses Association.
