Professor Chindu Sreedharan is a Professor of Journalism and Innovation at Bournemouth University's Faculty of Media and Communication. He holds a PhD in Journalism from Bournemouth University and previously worked as a journalist in New Delhi, Mumbai, and New York, focusing on crisis reporting. His research explores 'abnormal journalisms,' including crisis reporting, social media news, and digital narratives. He leads projects like Tie u Orja (Sierra Leone disaster preparedness), Media Action Against Rape (India sexual violence reporting), and Aftershock Nepal (post-earthquake journalism resilience).
