Chin-Lee Wu

Chin-Lee Wu, MD, PhD is Professor of Pathology at Harvard Medical School and Director of Genitourinary Pathology Services at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH). His laboratory operates within the MGH Pathology Service, MGH Urology Research Lab, and MGH Cancer Center, with research activities occupying approximately 20,000 square feet of space. His work is supported by over $19 million in annual research funding.

Dr. Wu's research focuses on the molecular basis of urologic tumors, particularly prostate, bladder, and kidney cancers. His laboratory employs advanced techniques including laser capture microdissection, DNA microarray analysis, and metabolomic profiling to identify biomarkers for cancer diagnosis, prognosis, and therapeutic development. Key research areas include gene expression profiles for prostate cancer outcome prediction, metabolomic signatures for in vivo imaging, and investigation of androgen receptor co-activators in prostate cancer progression.
