Chin-Hung Chang serves as the Chinese Language Program Administrative, Scheduling, and Curricular Coordinator and holds the title of Associate Professor of Instruction at Northwestern University. They earned an M.A. in Teaching Chinese as a Second Language from National Taiwan Normal University and are currently pursuing a doctorate in Learning Design & Leadership at the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign.
Their expertise includes language assessment, with certifications as an Oral Proficiency Interview tester, Writing Proficiency Test rater, and AAPPL rater. Research focuses on the impact of technology on language learning, particularly leveraging AI to enhance speaking skills outside traditional classroom settings. They are actively involved in curriculum development and administrative coordination for the Chinese Language Program.
Chin-Hung Chang collaborates with the Study Abroad Office as a contact adviser, supporting students interested in programs related to Chinese language and culture. Their work emphasizes innovative pedagogical approaches to address evolving educational needs in the digital era.
