Chih-Chien Wang serves as Associate Professor in Studio Arts at Concordia University, Montreal. Born in Taiwan, he has resided in Montreal since 2002 after completing his artistic education and television documentary production work.
His academic credentials include:

Wang's research investigates everyday experience through the lens of perception, memory, and identity, utilizing photography and video to explore fiction/reality dynamics. His practice integrates ritual, media arts, installation, and found objects to examine intimacy, collecting behaviors, and text/image relationships while emphasizing temporality and collective storytelling.
