Chiel van der Veen

Chiel van der Veen is an Associate Professor in Educational Sciences at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and holds the position of Urban Care and Education Professor (Lector) at Windesheim University of Applied Sciences. He specializes in dialogic classroom talk, play-based learning, and children's social competencies. His research bridges primary and higher education, emphasizing oral communication, theory of mind, and social status development.
