Chiara Feliziani

Chiara Feliziani is an Associate Professor of Administrative Law at the University of Macerata's Department of Law, qualified to exercise the functions of a Full Professor. She holds a PhD in Public Economic Law from the University of Rome La Sapienza. Her research focuses on administrative law, environmental policy, circular economy, migration law, and European Union law. She has held former roles as a Senior Researcher and Research Fellow at the University of Macerata and the University of Rome La Sapienza. She has been a visiting professor at Riga Graduate School of Law (2023/2024) and has conducted research at institutions like the Max Planck Institute and the European University Institute.

Her academic contributions include monographs on administrative law, environmental policy, and EU compliance, along with numerous articles in journals like Rivista di Diritto Amministrativo and Giustizia Ambientale. She co-coordinates research groups on circular economy and pandemic governance (Global Pandemic Network) and is a member of interdisciplinary legal associations such as AIDAambiente and Icon-S.

Her awards include the 2015 'Starting Research' Award and 2014 'Best Doctoral Thesis' Award from the University of Rome. She serves on editorial boards and academic committees, including the PhD program in Law and Innovation at the University of Macerata.
