Professor Cheryl Thomas is the first Chair in Judicial Studies at University College London's Faculty of Laws, specializing in empirical analysis of judges and courts. She directs the UCL Judicial Institute and UCL Jury Project, and has pioneered research on jury decision-making, judicial diversity, and court institutional dynamics.
