Cheryl Poth is a Professor in the Centre for Research and Applied Measurement and Evaluation at the Faculty of Education, University of Alberta. Her work focuses on interdisciplinary research methodology, particularly mixed methods and complexity-informed approaches, applied to education and health sciences.
Research Interests include enhancing research quality, methodological training, and collaborative research teams. She emphasizes complexity theory to address dynamic phenomena in education and health, such as pandemic response, classroom dynamics, and clinical settings. Her research advocates for integrating qualitative and quantitative methods to tackle rapidly evolving challenges.
