Cheryl Harris

Cheryl Harris is an Adjunct Professor and Part-Time Faculty member at the Management, Strategy, and Entrepreneurship department of Southern Methodist University. With a PhD in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of North Texas, she specializes in organizational development, leadership, and talent management.

Her professional career includes over a decade at American Airlines, where she served as Director of Talent Development, globally managing talent, assessments, and leadership development programs. She is also the founder of We Ignite Potential, a consultancy focused on unlocking human potential through individual, team, and organizational solutions.

Harris's expertise spans strategic planning, inclusive workplace design, and high-potential development. Her teaching includes the course MNO 6239 – Management in Action Project. She may be contacted via email at clharris@smu.edu.
