Dr. Cheryl Grindell serves as a Research Fellow at the University of Sheffield's School of Medicine and Population Health within the Academic Unit of Primary Medical Care. Her dual role bridges clinical practice at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals' Northern General Hospital and academic research, with strong ties to Lab4Living at Sheffield Hallam University and CLAHRC networks.
Her educational background includes:
- BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy
- MSc Clinical Research (completed at ScHARR through NIHR funding)
- PhD in Health Services Research (University of Sheffield, 2023)
- Professional credentials: MCSP, HCPC registration
Research focuses on creative co-design methodologies for knowledge mobilisation in healthcare, particularly within musculoskeletal physiotherapy and verbal health literacy improvement.
