Cherine Hamid

Cherine Hamid is an academic medical professional affiliated with UT Southwestern's Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She currently serves as Associate Director of the Division of Gynecology and Medical Director of the Parkland Gynecology Clinic. Dr. Hamid joined UT Southwestern's faculty in 2006 after practicing general obstetrics and gynecology in Florida from 2002-2005.

Her education includes a medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine, followed by residency training at Boston Medical Center completed in 2002. She maintains active clinical responsibilities at Parkland Health and Hospital System, where she mentors medical students and residents.

Her professional focus revolves around clinical practice and medical education within obstetrics and gynecology, emphasizing women's health and maternal-fetal care. She holds Diplomate certification from the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
