Vanessa Rogers

Vanessa Rogers, MD, is a Clinical Professor and Chief of the Division of Education and Faculty Development in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She holds dual board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Maternal-Fetal Medicine. Her career includes residency training at the University of Miami Jackson Memorial Hospital (2003) and a maternal-fetal medicine fellowship at UT Southwestern (2006). She has held leadership roles, including Director of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program (2012–2019) and Director of the OB/GYN Clerkship (2008–2012).

Dr. Rogers' research focuses on infectious diseases in pregnancy, medical education innovation, and physician wellness. She has authored chapters in major textbooks such as Current Medical Diagnosis and Treatment and Williams Obstetrics. Her clinical practice at Parkland Health and Hospital System emphasizes mentorship of medical students, residents, and fellows.

Professional involvement includes examiner roles for the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and membership in the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine.
