Chenhui Shao is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical Science and Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC), part of the Grainger College of Engineering. He holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan (2016), with prior degrees in Statistics, Industrial and Operations Engineering, and Automation. His academic roles include serving as an Associate Editor for multiple journals and organizing conferences such as the ASME International Manufacturing Science and Engineering Conference.
