Chengcheng Jin is an Assistant Professor of Cancer Biology and Assistant Investigator at the Abramson Family Cancer Research Institute. He is affiliated with the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, where he leads research initiatives at the intersection of cancer immunology, neuro-immune crosstalk, and host-microbiota interactions.
- Education: B.S. in Biological Science from Tsinghua University (2007), Ph.D. in Cell Biology from Yale University (2013)
Dr. Jin's research focuses on understanding how immune responses evolve in tumor microenvironments (TME) under the influence of commensal microbiota and host-intrinsic factors. Current projects investigate: (1) microbiota impacts on lung cancer immunity, (2) spatial-temporal tumor-immune interactions, and (3) host-derived immuno-modulatory signals. His lab employs multi-omics approaches, advanced imaging, and genetically engineered mouse models to address these questions.
Recent publications highlight his work on tumor microbiome dynamics, AI-driven tumor segmentation, and inflammasome mechanisms in cancer progression. The lab's research aims to translate findings into novel cancer prevention and treatment strategies.
