Cheng Chih-fu is a Professor at the Institute of Technology Management and Intellectual Property, College of Business, National Chengchi University. He currently serves as Vice Dean of the College of Business and Executive Director of the EMBA program. His research focuses on innovation and entrepreneurship, operational strategy, entrepreneurial ecosystems, and digital transformation.
Professor Cheng received his PhD from Waseda University's Graduate School of Information, Production & Systems in Japan (2005-2008), and holds MS and BS degrees in Computer Science from the University of Houston in the United States. His academic journey at National Chengchi University began as an Associate Professor in 2014, progressing to full Professor in 2021.
His research spans entrepreneurial ecosystems, innovation management, digital business transformation, and supply chain management. Professor Cheng has published extensively in high-impact journals, with his recent work focusing on pandemic response strategies, digital supply chain management, and entrepreneurial ecosystem dynamics. His research often employs advanced analytical methods including fuzzy logic, DEMATEL technique, and multi-criteria decision-making approaches.
Professor Cheng has secured numerous research grants from Taiwan's Ministry of Science and Technology, primarily focusing on sustainable entrepreneurship ecosystems, ESG impact on entrepreneurial ecosystems, and innovation opportunities. His research projects demonstrate a consistent focus on understanding how technology, policy, and collaborative innovation shape entrepreneurial success.

His work bridges academic research with practical business applications, particularly in helping entrepreneurs navigate complex ecosystems and develop sustainable business models.
