معرفی
Chen Davidovich is a Professor in the Department of Biochemistry & Molecular Biology at Monash University, affiliated with the Monash Biomedicine Discovery Institute. His research focuses on understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying chromatin-modifying complexes, particularly the regulation of Polycomb repressive complexes (PRC2) by RNA, proteins, and DNA. His work contributes to Sustainable Development Goals related to health and innovation.
Research Projects:
- Development of mRNA therapeutics (2023–2028)
- RNA purification platforms (2021–present)
- Epigenetic regulation of PRC2 (2021–2025)
- mRNA Victoria and pre-clinical innovation (2022–2025)
Research Interests:
His lab investigates how chromatin-modifying complexes maintain gene repression, with a focus on PRC2 and RNA interactions. Techniques include cryo-EM, CRISPR screens, and bioinformatics. Recent work addresses PRC2 dynamics in non-dividing cells and RNA's role in epigenetic regulation.
Lab & Collaborations:
The Davidovich Lab collaborates globally on chromatin biology and mRNA applications. They offer training in structural biology, molecular biology, and bioinformatics. Positions include postdocs (analytical chemistry, structural biology), PhD students, and research assistants.
