Chelsea Holton

Chelsea Holton is an Associate Professor at the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design (MIAD), where she has taught Western and Non-Western art history courses since 2010. Growing up in Hawaii, she developed a boundaryless worldview that informs her interdisciplinary approach to art history, emphasizing connections between cultures and historical periods.

• Educated at Loyola Marymount University (B.A.) and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (M.A.)
• Active in museum studies and the history of photography
• Collaborates with Milwaukee’s Sadler Gallery in her free time
