Chavon Sutton is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Leonard N. Stern School of Business, New York University (NYU), since July 2021. She teaches Business Communications and Professional Responsibility & Leadership. Her professional roles include Senior Investment Director at Cambridge Associates, Director of Diverse & Emerging Manager Strategy at NYC’s Bureau of Asset Management, and prior experience at J.P. Morgan, Bank of America, and RBC Capital Markets. She is also an experienced business reporter for CNN Business, Forbes, and Reuters.

Research Interests: Focuses on sustainable and impact investing strategies, business communications, and leadership ethics. Her work bridges investment advisory, institutional portfolio management, and journalism, emphasizing ESG principles and diverse manager strategies.
Labs/Teams: Active within the Sustainable & Impact Investing Research Group at Cambridge Associates and previously with NYC’s Bureau of Asset Management.
