Charlotte Vrinten

Charlotte Vrinten is a Teaching Fellow in Public Health at the School of Public Health, Faculty of Medicine, Imperial College London. She contributes to modules such as Foundations of Public Health Practice and Global Health Innovations for both on-campus and online learners.

Education:

• PhD in Medicine, VU University Amsterdam (2018)
• BSc in Psychology
• BA in Philosophy

Her research focuses on public health, health policy, rare diseases, non-communicable diseases, and behavioral science. She has examined e-cigarette use among UK adolescents, socioeconomic disparities in compliance with public health measures during the pandemic, and policy recommendations for rare diseases through the Rare2030 project.

Charlotte chairs the UK Public Health Science conference and has collaborated with the Patient Experience Research Centre and the Go-Golborne project on childhood obesity prevention. Her work integrates longitudinal data analysis, health equity, and stakeholder engagement in policy development.
