Charlotte Vale is a Postgraduate Research Student at the Leverhulme Quantum Biology Doctoral Training Centre (QB-DTC), part of the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering within the Faculty of Engineering and Physical Sciences at the University of Surrey. She also holds the role of Physics Lecturer in Foundation Year Studies at the University of Lincoln's College of Science, where she teaches courses like PHY3044 - Advanced Quantum Physics and PHYM062 - Quantum Magnetism & Superconductivity.
- Education: BSc Physics (Hons) from University of Lincoln (2019), MSc Mathematical and Theoretical Physics from University of Sheffield (2020).
- Research Focus: Quantum-classical interface, spin dynamics of radical pairs in biomolecular systems (e.g., Mycobacterium tuberculosis), non-Markovian environments, and quantum thermodynamics.
