- PhD in Material Science (2018), Victoria University of Wellington
- Master's in Physics (2011), Victoria University of Wellington
Research Interests:
- Structural material characterization using Rutherford backscattering spectroscopy (RBS) and channelling techniques
- Development of ion beam methods for semiconductor and quantum technology applications
- Investigation of polymer film morphology and surfactant distribution
- Optimization of thin films (AZO, BiFeO3) for electronic and optical properties
- Microdosimetry for hadron therapy applications
Scientific Contributions: Active in ion beam analysis (TOF-ERD, PIXE), with leadership in the Surrey Ion Beam Centre. Collaborated on projects spanning polymer stratification, multiferroic materials, and archaeological provenance studies. Key applications include adhesive films, water-splitting catalysts, and semiconductor microstructures.
