Dr. Charlotte Skeet is Associate Professor in Law at the University of Sussex's School of Law, Politics and Sociology. She teaches Women and Human Rights, Law and Development, and Canadian Constitutional Law, with research focusing on feminist legal theory and decolonial approaches to constitutionalism.
Her research examines gender justice through intersectional frameworks, analyzing how legal systems address reproductive rights violations and structural inequalities. Recent work investigates the limitations of international adjudication for marginalized groups.
Active in Rights of Women and Human Rights Lawyers Association, she mentors doctoral candidates examining sexual/reproductive rights in transitional justice settings and legal strategies for vulnerable populations.
