Dr. Charlotte Herriott is a Senior Lecturer in Criminology and Policing at Anglia Ruskin University, where she leads the MA Criminology program. Her research examines criminal justice responses to sexual violence, with special focus on rape trials and military contexts. She pioneered studies on sexual history evidence in jury deliberations and military sexual trauma frameworks.
She teaches modules on Violence in Context and Exploitation/Trafficking. Current collaborations with ARU's Veterans Institute investigate service justice system reforms and military-specific factors in sexual offense response.
