Dr. Charlotte Feakins is a Lecturer in Heritage Studies and Historical/Contemporary Archaeology at the University of Sydney, within the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences. She holds affiliations with the Sydney Centre for Healthy Societies, Sydney Environment Institute, and the Vere Gordon Childe Centre. Her research focuses on trauma-informed heritage, emotion, critical folklore, and anti-colonial approaches. She leads industry projects like the ARC-Linkage ‘Everyday Heritage’ and co-founded the First Nations Speaker Series. Awards include the University Medal (2013) and Maureen Byrne Award (2020). She supervises students in Heritage Studies, Historical Archaeology, and Contemporary Archaeology.
