Charline Uhr is an Associate Professor at the Department of Economics and Business Economics at Aarhus University, and a research fellow at the Danish Finance Institute (DFI). She holds a PhD from Goethe University Frankfurt (2021). Her research focuses on household finance, behavioral finance, and private investor decision-making, particularly regarding financial advice, investment biases, and ambiguity reactions in markets. She collaborates with industry partners like banks and brokerages, yielding impactful publications. She teaches a 10 ECTS master’s course in Financial Intermediation covering FinTech, bank regulation, and financial crises. Current grants include the Inge-Lehmann-funded project on private investors and financial advice (2024–2027).
