Charlie-Jade Jones

Charlie-Jade Jones is a PhD Candidate at the Royal College of Music's Centre for Performance Science, investigating health literacy within conservatoire-based actor, actor-musician, and musical theatre training from student, staff, and clinical perspectives under the supervision of Professor Aaron Williamon and Dr Anna Detari.

Research Focus: Explores health literacy and psychosocial dimensions of vocal health in performing arts education, informed by her MSc in Performance Science (RCM, Distinction) and professional experience as a musical theatre performer.

Professional Background: Graduated from the Royal Academy of Music (2015) with a Postgraduate Diploma in Musical Theatre. Notable performances include Anything Goes, No For An Answer, and Parade. Founded The Practice by Charlie-Jade, an educational platform supporting professional voice users' health.

Teaching: Holds a Licentiate of the Royal Academy of Music in Singing Teaching. Former positions at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts and Laine Theatre Arts. Collaborates with specialist clinicians for continued professional development.
