Charles Strand is an Adjunct Professor of Education at Bethel University, specializing in Special Education. He has been affiliated with the university since 2000, serving as a Student Teacher/Practicum Supervisor and Thesis Advisor. His roles include teaching graduate courses in Special Education and advising students pursuing licensure in areas like Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), Developmental Disabilities (DD), and Emotional/Behavioral Disorders (EBD).
Education: B.S. (St. Cloud State University, 1970), M.A. (University of Denver, 1975), and Ed.S. (St. Cloud State University, 1986). His career spans decades in special education, with experience across age groups and roles, including as a former special educator and administrator.
Research and professional contributions include a Field Study Research Project titled "Perceptions of Effectiveness: Role and Function of the Director of Special Education" (St. Cloud State University) and presentations on thesis writing at Bethel's Summer "Refresh" events.
