Dr. Charles-Liscombe, B.C., Ed.D., LAT, ATC, serves as Chairperson and Associate Professor in the Department of Exercise Science and Integrative Health at Mount St. Joseph University. He teaches courses such as Pathways to the Health Professions, Epidemiology of Physical Activity and Health, and Healthcare Administration.

His research focuses on the scholarship of teaching and learning, active learning strategies, social determinants of health, food insecurity, interprofessional education in healthcare, standardized patients in athletic training education, and faculty development challenges. He has presented at numerous state, regional, and national conferences.

Dr. Charles-Liscombe advises Health, Exercise, and Sport (HES) majors and graduate school planning students in athletic training, dietetics, nutrition, occupational therapy, and physical therapy. He leads initiatives like the Exercise is Medicine On Campus committee and contributes to academic governance through the University’s Facilities, Infrastructure, and Technology Subcommittee.
