Charles Lee is an Affiliate Faculty member at Regis University, where he teaches Applied Cello and directs the string orchestra and chamber music programs. He also serves as an instructor of cello at Metro State University of Denver. His career spans decades of performance and pedagogy, with a focus on music education and orchestral excellence.

Dr. Lee specializes in cello performance, chamber music, and orchestral conducting. His research interests align with practical applications of musical training and ensemble dynamics. Over his career, he has contributed to the development of young cellists, many of whom are now part of prestigious youth orchestras and professional ensembles nationally.
Dr. Lee has been recognized for his achievements with the Bernard Rogers composition award. His performance career includes principal cellist roles in the Boulder Philharmonic Orchestra (since 1998), co-principal cellist in the Colorado Ballet Orchestra (since 2002), and membership in the Opera Colorado Orchestra (joined 2011). He remains an active chamber musician and soloist in the region.
