Charles Bernstein

Charles Bernstein is a Distinguished Professor of Medicine at the Max Rady College of Medicine, University of Manitoba, specializing in Gastroenterology. He directs the University of Manitoba IBD Epidemiology Database and the IBD Research Registry, focusing on population-based studies of inflammatory bowel disease.

• Research Themes: IBD epidemiology, gut microbiome, psychiatric comorbidity, and chronic immune-mediated inflammatory diseases.
