Charles A. Birnbaum is a Lecturer in Landscape Architecture at Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design (GSD). He serves as President, CEO, and founder of The Cultural Landscape Foundation (TCLF), dedicated to preserving designed landscapes. Previously, he worked with the National Park Service Historic Landscape Initiative (HLI) and held roles at Ohio State University and Columbia University. His expertise spans landscape preservation, urban design, and cultural heritage management.
