Charissa Lee

Charissa Lee is a Lecturer in Business Administration and Bachelor of Business Administration at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) School of Business. With a Bachelor of Management in Human Resources and a Master of Science in Organizational Psychology, she is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) at the University of Saskatchewan, expected to complete in 2027.

Her research focuses on professional identity development, workplace readiness, and onboarding programs, particularly through the LaunchPad virtual platform. She advocates for core human skills in the 21st-century workforce and co-developed the Insights Discovery psychometric tool to enhance student self-awareness and collaboration.

Charissa’s publications and presentations emphasize soft skills scaffolding, OER integration, and AI in pedagogy. She has presented at the International Society for the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning Conference, Society for Teaching and Learning in Higher Education Conference, and Administrative Sciences Association of Canada Conference.

She actively contributes to the Teaching and Catalyst Group, developing frameworks for teaching excellence, and has implemented free Open Educational Resources (OERs) in courses like Introduction to Business and Organizational Behavior. Her work prioritizes student engagement and equity in educational practices.
