Chapin Cimino is Professor of Law at Drexel University's Thomas R. Kline School of Law. Her research applies virtue ethics to legal theory, examining how law promotes human flourishing through frameworks like Adam Smith's jurisprudence. She integrates mindfulness practices into legal education through courses like Contemplative Lawyering and weekly meditation sessions.
Her work includes advocacy for press freedom, including representing journalists in FOIA litigation related to the 2016 Democratic Convention. She serves as Co-President of the Mindfulness in Law Society.
